UCAS

A long, loose overcoat made of wool or other rough material, often called a greatcoat, which sometimes features an attached shoulder cape covering the back and sleeves, and which can sometimes be buttoned in front.

A range of appearances, mannerisms, or behaviors of a humanoid figure that are subtly different from a human and thereby cause feelings of discomfort, such as fear or revulsion.

The situation where part of a formed or cast shape has a reverse taper or inward‑leaning surface that makes it difficult to remove from the die or mold.

To expose to air after dyeing in indigo so that the greenish color fades away.

A maker’s mark imprinted on a work to show that it is sanctioned by members of a trade union. It is often a tiny elongated rhomboid containing and surrounded by, in minuscule typeface, identifying names and the union’s local chapter number.

union station

A railroad station shared by more than one railroad company, usually to spread the costs and ease the logistics of serving a particular town by rail.

A device used to break a smart card's microcontroller out of an infinite loop state that makes it otherwise unusable.

A section of a roof covering or flashing which turns up against a vertical surface.
